Small, but beautifully formed consultancy (6 strong), is looking for a super smart, savoir-faire technology/digital PR recruitment consultant. Without doubt, this consultancy leads the way in technology PR recruitment. They stand apart from their competitors leaving them at the race line when it comes to quality of service and going the extra mile. Not only do they have a reputation for consistently providing first class talent, but their in-depth industry understanding enables them to engage with their clients at another level.
A fantastic opening has arisen for an experienced consultant to head up their technology desk. You will be placing mid to senior level PR professionals in communications teams for companies such as Adobe, Sony, Canon, Logica, Sunesis, SAP, BT and leading technology PR agencies including Hotwire, Rainier, Immediate Future. These are all long established client relationships that you will inherit.
The potential for this desk is phenomenal and should easily generate revenues in excess of £200k in the first year. The desk currently handles predominately permanent positions; however they are also set up to manage freelance roles. As with any good recruitment consultant, you will be expected to develop further relationships, focussing on premium major technology/Telco companies. The future plan is to build a team and hire some junior consultants to manage some of these accounts. It’s a candidate led market, so head-hunting, attending social events and networking are all key.
This is a demanding role where gravitas is prerequisite and verve is a must if you’re to slot into a unique consultancy culture, shaped by a team of supremely intelligent and inspirational consultants. You’ll need to be intellectually strong, possess first class writing skills, have an excellent track record in recruitment, be naturally curious about people with the ability to question effectively and finally, you will be truly passionate about the latest trends and developments within the techno and digital world.
